More than 31,000 trucks cross from Jordan into Syria

Amman, SANA-The Jordanian Customs Department said that the number of Jordanian trucks that entered Syria from December 16, 2024, to July 2, 2024, reached approximately 31,434.

According to data from the Jordanian Customs Department, the construction sector topped the list of sectors exporting the most to Syria, with approximately 17,535 trucks loaded with various materials needed for construction

Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), Khalil Haj Tawfiq, said on Thursday that approximately 83,000 trucks have crossed from Jordan into Syria since the fall of the  al-Assad regime on December 8, 2024, in addition to 16,800 cement trucks.
