Damascus, SANA – Director of NGOs at Social Affairs Ministry, Rula al-Aghbar, said that the Ministry is following up on the issue of NGO funds in Syrian banks and is contacting the Central Bank of Syria to move accounts and raise withdrawal limits, with the aim of strengthening and empowering the role of NGOs.

Al-Aghbar told SANA in a statement that issues related to the amount of money that banks allow to be withdrawn depends on the money liquidity available in the banks and the procedures of each one, noting that these amounts vary from one bank to another.
