Baghdad, SANA-Syrian Energy Minister, Mohammad al-Bashir and an accompanying delegation arrived Monday in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, on an official visit during which he will meet several officials in the energy sector to discuss means of enhancing cooperation.

The visit aims to discuss several strategic issues, most notably the possibility of rehabilitating the oil pipeline between Kirkuk and Baniyas Port, as well as finding ways to cooperate on water resources projects.
