Homs celebrates its history and heritage with a variety of cultural events

Homs, SANA – Culture Minister inaugurated on Monday the cultural event “Homs: A History to be Narrated and a Culture to be Build” at the Culture Palace in Homs.

Al-Saleh first inaugurated plastic art gallery featured paintings, Arabic calligraphy, design and execution, photography, and arabesque, in addition to a heritage section featuring pottery, Ajami art, glass engraving, and handicrafts.

Al-Saleh said that his visit to Homs is part of a cultural tour that began in Idlib and will cover various governorates. This tour is part of the Ministry of Culture’s plan to build an integrated cultural landscape that makes culture a bridge between hearts and a pillar for strengthening unity and belonging. He praised the efforts of the Homs Culture Directorate team and their exceptional ability to turn every event into a window of hope through their diverse activities.
