Severe storms and flooding sweep cross Wisconsin, USA

Washington, SANA- Severe storms accompanied by heavy rainfall have struck the U.S. state of Wisconsin, causing widespread flooding, power outages, and road closures in various parts of the state.

According to NBC News, authorities reported that Milwaukee experienced the highest rainfall levels in Wisconsin. A state of emergency was declared in the city after torrential rains exceeded 30 centimeters, resulting in extensive flooding.

Local authorities in Milwaukee conducted rescue operations for individuals trapped by floodwaters, while submerged vehicles across the city obstructed roadways.

More than 31,000 utility customers in Wisconsin lost power due to the storms.

Meanwhile, severe flooding in a Nebraska prison caused significant damage, prompting the relocation of 387 inmates to alternative facilities such as gymnasiums, according to officials.
The Meteorological Authority stated that flash floods caused by heavy rains are still possible in many areas.
