5.8 Magnitude earthquake Strikes Algeria’s Tebessa Province

Algiers, SANA-A magnitude 5.8 earthquake on the Richter scale struck the eastern Algerian province of Tebessa no casualties or material damage have been reported so far.

According to the Algerian News Agency, the Center for Research in Astronomy and Geophysics stated that the quake struck at a depth of 10 km southeast of Negrine in Tebessa Province followed by a 4.7 magnitude aftershock followed, with its center identified 26 km southeast of Negrine.
