Palestinian Prime Minister Calls for Effective International Action to Stop Israeli Aggression on Gaza Strip
SANA NEWS -

Cairo, SANA – Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa reiterated his call for more effective international action to compel the Israeli occupation to halt its aggression on the Gaza Strip, immediately resume the entry of aid, and stop the use of starvation as a weapon.

During a press conference with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdul Ati at the Rafah border crossing on the Egyptian side Monday, Mustafa stressed that Gaza Strip is an integral part of Palestine, the PLO is the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, and the Palestinian government is the only body authorized to administer the affairs of Gaza.

He explained that Israel’s continued closure of the Rafah crossing indicates that Israel is starving the Palestinian people in preparation for their displacement and preventing the establishment of a unified and independent state.

For his part, the Egyptian Foreign Minister affirmed that his country will continue to support the Palestinian people in their pursuit of their legitimate rights, especially as more than 5,000 trucks are currently on the Egyptian side waiting to enter the Palestinian side, but the occupation authorities are imposing restrictions and preventing their entry.

Abdul-Ati called for pressure on Israel to cease fire, allow immediate and unconditional access to humanitarian aid, and work diligently to end the decades-long suffering of the Palestinian people.
