Jordan condemns Netanyahu’s raid of the occupied West Bank
SANA NEWS -

Amman, SANA- Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned Tuesday, in the strongest terms, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s incursion into the occupied West Bank and his statements about preventing the establishment of Palestinian state.

The Ministry considered this a flagrant violation of international law and a challenge to the international will to support the two-state solution.

The Jordanian News Agency quoted the ministry’s spokesman, Sufyan al-Qudah, as stressing Jordan’s absolute rejection and strong condemnation of the ongoing provocative practices and statements of the Israeli government’s extremists, which perpetuate the occupation and illegal colonial settlement that violates international law and UN Security Council resolutions.

Ambassador al-Qudah reiterated his call for the international community to shoulder its legal and moral responsibilities and compel Israel and its extremist government to halt its aggression against Gaza, its dangerous escalation in the occupied West Bank, and the inflammatory statements of its officials. He also called for providing the necessary protection for the Palestinian people, fulfilling their legitimate rights to establish an independent, sovereign state on their national soil, halting the crimes committed against them, and holding their perpetrators accountable.
