The Czech won the first five games of the match and Boulter had to save a set point to win her first game.

Boulter stirred hopes of a fightback when she broke Siniakova but her opponent soon seized back control.

The Briton showed greater resistance in the second set but Siniakova served out for a straightforward victory.

Siniakova, the world No 86, will face USA's Ashlyn Krueger in Sunday's final.

The world No 55 beat fellow American Ann Li in Saturday's other semi-final, knocking out the No 1 seed in three sets.

Elena Rybakina is looking to defend her Ningbo Open title after beating Diana Shnaider in their semi-final on Saturday.

Rybakina beat Shnaider 6-3 7-5 to set up a final with Leylah Fernandez.

Australian and US Open champion Rybakina, who arrived for her title defence after a bruising defeat in Beijing and a foot injury that forced her out of Wuhan, showed flashes of ‌her best form despite a few wobbles against Shnaider.

"It was an important game and a very long one," Rybakina said about closing out the first set. "It was a struggle on my serve. There were so many opportunities. But I'm glad that in the end it went my way."

Taylor Fritz reached his fifth ATP Tour final of the year after picking up a straight-sets win over fellow American Tommy Paul in the Grand Prix Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes semis in Lyon.

Fritz, who lost his first three appearances in finals this year before claiming the Washington Open title in August, will face the winner of an all-Italian semi-final between top seed Flavio Cobolli and Lorenzo Musetti in Sunday's showpiece.
